Description

This standard brown hardboard is a versatile, high-density fibreboard suitable for a wide range of building and DIY jobs. At 3.2mm thick, it provides a lightweight yet durable surface that is easy to cut and fix. It is commonly used for floor levelling prior to laying carpets or vinyl, as well as for cabinet backs and general internal joinery work.

The board features one smooth face and one textured, mesh-patterned side, giving you flexibility depending on your project requirements. It is a cost-effective sheet material that takes well to most wood glues and can be easily pinned or stapled into place. Because it is a natural wood product, we recommend conditioning the boards in the room where they will be installed.
